F.A.Q.

Do I need to sign up before I buy beats?

No, there is no need to sign up before buying beats

What do I get when I purchase a beat?

Each purchase comes with a contract/invoice-receipt stating terms, your rights of ownership, and the files. The files will be available for download sent to your email address provided by paypal. With a “Standard-Non exclusive lease” you will get a high quality 320 kbit/s Mp3-version of the beat or beats. With an “Premium-Non exclusive Lease” you will get the Mp3 + the highest quality Wav-Version the beat or beats. With “Exclusive Rights” you will get Mp3 + Wav-Version + the separated multitracks of the beat.

Do your beats have samples?

Most of my beats do not use samples, however a few use royalty free samples. Royalty free samples do not need to be cleared before using.

Will the BeatsRoyale voice tag will be removed when I purchase the beat?

Yup. When your payment settles you will receive the beat in your email without any voicetags.

How can I settle the payment if I don't have a PayPal account?

When you select the “Buy Now” option you will be taken to the Paypal page where you have the option to pay via credit card, through your Paypal account, or a guest Paypal account.

How long will I have to wait to receive the beats I purchase?

All beats are sent automatically, as soon as the payment has been settled.  Sometimes there might be a slight delay  as per technical reasons. Make sure to double check your spam folder if you do not see your beat right away. If there are any further problems contact us at [email protected] and we will rectify the situation.  When it comes to larger files such as .WAV the process may take up to 24 hours.

Can I use a leased beat for a profitable project?

Yes, a standard lease and a premium lease can be used for one profitable project (an album, a mixtape, a commercial etc.) A standard lease has a sales limit of 5,000 copies, a premium lease has a sales limit of 15,000 copies.   Both can also be used for an unlimited number of live shows or performances.

What does “tracked-out” refer too?

This means that every track or instrument used in the composition of a beat is sent to you individually as a high quality .WAV file. Meaning, you will receive the Kick drum track, the bass track, the piano track, the snare track, etc, all in separate files. This enables you or your engineer more control in the post production mixing and mastering stage, so that your song will have the highest production value possible.

What is the difference between exclusive rights and non-exclusive rights (leasing)?

Non-exclusive rights otherwise known as a lease means that the beat licensed to you is still owned by BeatsRoyale.com. We Lease the beat to you, but you can still use it for profitable purposes. In the standard lease contract this means 1 master recording, 5,000 copies to be used in any medium. In the premium lease contract this means 1 master recording, 15,000 copies to used in any medium.  Exclusive rights transfer full ownership of the beat to you, allowing you to use it however you want. Once a beat is bought exclusively it will be removed from the website and will be no longer offered for sale

After I purchase a beat, is it removed from the website?

Depends if you buy the beat with non-exclusive or exclusive rights. If a beat is bought with non-exclusive rights, it will remain on the website as you are leasing it, if it bought with exclusive rights, it will be removed from the website as you own it.

If I buy a non-exclusive license and somebody later purchases exclusive rights for the same beat, what happens?

Your contractual rights will remain and you will be able to continue to sell the amount specified in your non-exclusive contract. The only thing that will change would be if you want to later purchase that beat exclusively. As somebody else will now own it, you will not be able to purchase it from us.
